This is my favorite mola design. I thought this design looked a little bit like a spider web. I used an X-Acto knife and a glue stick to put this all together. I have been working on being very exact with the knife and making sure it cuts correctly and not jagged. The are elements are line and shape. I really focused on making sure that I wasn't making the lines jagged.
This is my surrealistic room design with color. It looks like a 3D room with a dog, mailbox, flowerpot, bed, balloons and much more. I used a pencil to outline first, then I colored it with colored pencil. I learned how to be patient with my drawing and coloring, I'm not really good at it. The main art elements used are pattern and proportion. This room is a little crazy because of the flower pot on the floor and the main box inside the house. But it's also got a happy feel to it.
This is my favorite notan design which contains differnt line designs. This, looks to me like, it is really forestry and environmental. I have used paper and scissors so I can cut it out, and I have also used glue. I was only able to finish two of the notan designs because I wanted to be extra precise with both designs. One of my new skills that I devloloped from doing this project was learning how to do some precise cut-outs, and I have to be very precise with the glue so that the notan design doesn't look crooked. I made this design because it seems like nature to me. I live in a foresty area in my neighborhood and I wanted to show my love for the environment. Nature means to me the phenomena of the physical world, and just life in general. That's what I thought this design showed.
